Again, because it makes it simpler to work with characters that know where they stand relative to other characters (both NPC and PC) i'm utilizing a scale for powers.
Now, first credit where it is due, the Power Rating chart comes from Mortal Kombat: Nightblood, another excellent RPG.
Second, although in most cases the power ratings will be used as guidelines and yes someone with a higher rating SHOULD win, it doesn't always work out like that for one reason or another (there can be other factors that give or take advantages) in any case, when it comes to a PC fighting an NPC, the ratings should be seen as more fluid.
= Human children up to the age of 5 years.
= Human children between the ages of 6 and 15 years.
= Untrained humans between the ages of 16 and 25.
= Untrained humans over the age of 26.
= Moderately trained non-military personnel. (Athletes)
= Moderately trained para-military personnel. (Police)
= Highly trained para-military personnel. (SWAT)
= Moderately trained military personnel. (Infantry)
= Highly trained military personnel. (Special Forces)
= Moderately advanced cyborg. (Cyrax)
= Highly trained martial artist. (Jet Li, Bruce Lee)
= Extensively trained military personnel. (Elite Special Forces)
= Highly advanced cyborg. (Robo-cop)
= Parahuman Martial artist. (Liu Kang)
= Demonic beings. (Scorpion)
= Sorcerers. (Quan Chi)
= Realm Lords. (Shao Kahn)
= Demi gods. (Taven, Daegon)
= Gods. (Raiden, Fujin)
= Over gods. (The Elder Gods)
As well, as characters are accepted, they will be given a Power Rating by one of the mods, and then the characters name and rating will also be recorded here.
It should also be noted that there are beings (however RARE) that go beyond the 20 mark on the scale...when/if such beings are introduced i'll add them to this as well.
